The Proventia Network Internet Scanner training course introduces concepts, frameworks, methodologies and strategies that are effective in successfully using Internet Scanner SP 2. The course focuses on hands-on training supported by presentations, demonstrations and lecture.
The course starts with a general security and Internet Scanner overview. After developing an understanding of Internet Scanner and how it works in securing the network, students install and configure the Internet Scanner, develop scanning strategies, create and modify polices to fine-tune scans, and run and analyze reports. Students then install a SiteProtector console and learn how to work with Internet Scanner functionality within the SiteProtector. Audience : Network and security professionals evaluating, implementing, managing, or monitoring ISS Proventia Management Internet Scanner. Prerequisite : Working knowledge of: TCP/IP and Windows 2000/2003 Server.
